Le Jardin des Remparts: Michelin-star restaurant in Beaune, in the heart of Burgundy

The establishment

Once upon a time there was a Garden…

A Garden of taste at the foot of the ramparts of Beaune

Beaune the golden one, Beaune the beloved one, the Burgundy capital of wine and gastronomy.

A Garden of gaiety, elegance and tradition firmly rooted in its time.

A place which Audrey and Christophe Bocquillon have made their own, as well as yours

To recount the story of le Jardin des Remparts...
Three places...
A pretty shaded garden, delightful in the summer months awaits you, where, in the Middle Ages, the town's ramparts used to stand, a stone's throw from the Hospices de Beaune.
Beyond the garden... Le Jardin des Remparts and its two dining rooms, both renovated in a great style and offering a cosy and intimate atmosphere.

The Chef's cuisine

A true food lover, the Chef Christophe Bocquillon's sole aim is "truth on a plate". He will introduce you to his bold and creative cuisine which, nevertheless, is accessible to all.

The produce is authentic, seasonal and locally-sourced. By returning to the very essence of taste, every day, he is able to create and invent his dishes.

Wine cellar

Our restaurant tells a story. A story of dishes and grapevines. At Audrey and Christophe Bocquillon's establishment, meals are a celebration of the land and the work of the enthusiastic and dedicated winemakers. Le Jardin des Remparts, a table drunk on joy!

Table for two with wineglass

Roland Chanliaud built up Le Jardin des Remparts's wine cellar, often with wines with which he fell in love, but also, as a result of the different wines he tasted and discovered and the encounters with those who made them. Christophe and Audrey Bocquillon wanted to preserve this wonderful wine list and allow guests to discover or rediscover the treasures of their wine cellar.
